FAQ: What is the difference between Multiflex and Tigerflex?
Multiflex and Tigerflex are both made in the USA with similar flexibility and appearance. Multiflex has a full EPDM rubber layer on the inside creating a smooth surface. Visually, if you look inside a Multiflex hose you will see all black rubber whereas with the Tigerflex hose you will see the plastic helix. Because of this extra EPDM rubber, Multiflex is slightly heavier but tends to last longer than Tigerflex. Lastly, Multiflex is only available in black and green, while Tigerflex is available in a range of colors.
