The Ferris 512 Hertz Analog Receiver is simple to use and great when locating in cast iron, nonmetallic lines and septic tanks. The FTP-8 Flushable Transmitter works well in cast iron, nonmetallic lines and septic tanks.


Ferris Analog Receiver:

  • • Easy to use controls allow you to manage the amount of signal you see on the meter
  • • Headphone jack for noisy sites
  • • Red battery tester button will help you know when its time to change out the batteries
  • • To calculate depth multiply the distance in inches between the front and back null by .7

FTP-8 Transmitters:

  • • Made in the USA
  • • Black On/Off push button
  • • Floats for easy retrieval
  • • Flashing Blue LED indicates that the sonde is transmitting
  • • Flashing Red LED indicates when the Transmitter is on its final flush
  • • Solid Red LED means the batteries are dead and it is time for a new Transmitter
  • • Batteries are not replaceable
  • • Eyelet makes it easy to attach a light-weight string for better control
